By the end of their fifth year, how good can they be? Good enough to be a consistent starter in this league? A good player off the bench? A top 10 player at their position? Or will they be playing in Europe?
My opinion on this changes almost daily (with Thompson, too). It's nearly impossiable to get a good read on guys as consistant as they are. And their sparatic playing time doesn't help either.
Casspi's got the passion, and the will to be a better player, not just individually but as a teamplayer as well. Greene may have a higher upside, but with what hes shown us im not sure if he'll get there, or if he even wants to. Hes more of a take whats given to him type of player, a role type player, instead of being an individual force on the court. From what im seeing right now, i think Casspi may become the better player in the future
Pretty much how I feel. Greene has the size and physical gifts, but mentally....I dont think he has "it". This could be as good as he ever gets.
Omri OTOH, definately has fire. He doesnt seem to be the team player that Greene is unfortunately, but I think he's going to be starter/6th man quality. Greene...Not so much. Its a bummer, Greene really had me going when he came back from his early season benching. Dude seemed to be putting up legit glue guy numbers. Now he isnt really putting up any numbers. Also, I'm in the camp that thinks his D = overrated.
