What happened to FP on the Rise Guys?

I was out of town all last week and I thought he must have been on vacation when I didn't hear him over the last couple days. This morning on the way in they said something about the new Rise Guy and nothing about FP. Can anyone fill me in on what happened/why is FP gone? And who is the new guy? There isn't anything listed about him on the KHTK website, and FP's info is gone as well.....

Ah, thanks. I didn't always (usually?) agree with him, but I liked him on the show. Too bad.

I couldn't stand the Rise Guys the way it's been the past 6 months with FP on the show. The bickering and petty position arguments were really tiresome. I was consistently shifting to KNBR just to get away from FP's affect on the show. I like hearing kings coverage, but the bay area show was just better lately.

From the quote below, I think others noticed the same thing (emphasis added by me).

"The ratings have been low, and there was an uneasy vibe going on, but I didn't realize it was that bad that I'd lose my job,"

To be honest, I miss the Justin Case era of the Rise Guys.

I honestly stopped listening to morning drivetime 1140 because of FP. Could never stand anything about him. I don't think I am the only person who finally just started listening to something else... and it was indeed a direct reflection on FP personally - nothing else. A smug, sneaky, divisive character - a proven liar and a proven cheat. The show is better off.

I enjoyed him being there, for the most part. I think you could tell by my posting history that I would disagree with him on many/most things, he was engaging and I, for one, didn't mind a little different attitude on the show from time to time. While I don't think he was the best co-host by any means, so far he's probably better than the guy on there now....

But maybe he is just trying to warm up to the show and format right now, I don't know. Who is he, anyways?

I dunno who the new guy is either, but I'm not itching to hit the 680 button everytime he talks, so its an improvement.

I think the word "Divisive" was a good fit for FP's affect on the show. it was always argue just to argue, and I'm glad that's gone.

I realize that I'm hardly KHTK's target audience as an "older" woman. I do listen to KHTK, usually on my commute. FP was almost unbearable to me and I sometimes had to change the channel (more and more, actually). I was about to just forget KHTK in the AM.

I found him to be annoying, petty, rude, but what really got to me was his over-the-top crudeness about women. I often just wanted to smack him a good one or tell him to grow up. My picture of him (right or wrong) got to be of a full-of-himself guy spending an inordinate amount of time drooling over porn or trying to pick women up in bars by talking about once being a pro ball player.

This is the very reason I no longer listen to the Rise Guys. I haven't listened for several months because he is not only a sexist, but so demeaning towards all women. I always called him a pr***. He makes me sick. Did I say that?

Truly, the guy was beginning to creep me out. Sounding more and more like some kind of pervert. Almost wanted to take a shower after listening to him some mornings.
