What are you looking forward to most besides the arena??

It may be kind of off the wall but I am actually looking forward to all the updated tech stuff that Ranadive is going to bring to the table. Websites, social media, programming and advertisements, etc. I dont know what it is but over the last few years something about all the games I watch feels so very dated. Like we were always behind the times. I am looking forward to leading the pack. How about you guys? Other ideas?

What the ownership does. Both business-wise and basketball-wise. They've got my trust and I'm interested in every step of the way. I'm very optpmistic and I have no suggestions.

I am just interested in how the team will respond!! Even if we didn't make one single player or coach change.. I think team would play better then last year

I want to see thee team play and know that that we as fans are getting the best this team can offer. No cost cutting, etc. I want to have that feeling of trust that the franchise is actually trying to win and that this is its main objective.

Then throw in all the shiny new things, techy innovations, etc. and to see what impact this has on the entire city is the pile of extras that I anticipate. This is good, ya know.

I'm looking forward to the whole sell-out experience at every game. The excitement of the fans and the symbiotic relationship with the players. It's been missing for far too long.

I'm looking forward to building a new organization focused on building a better team, not the stagnation in mediocrity we've been subjected to the last several years. I want to see a front office committed to growing and winning, a coach who can not only handle some of our more troublesome personalities, but earn the respect of his team. So long as I see growth, I'm good.

Can I just say "all of the above"? :p

Change in leadership and attitude. Probably some new players. New high-tech arena rising from the doldrums of K Street (with a video board bigger than a postage stamp!). New focus on winning and being competitive every night. The crowd coming back to support the team, and the good feeling Sacramento has about it when the city rallies around the Kings. Just getting back to being a real team again.

I also have no doubts that the new ownership will be implementing an improved scouting and statistical component to the team. Hopefully helps us be better prepared and able to respond quickly to changes that need to be made.

I am looking foward to not having the lowest salary in the NBA. I wanna see us paying out the $ to get the right players. stop getting the "poor man's" version of players.

competency from the ownership regarding player personnel.. All of the talk of the MAloofs overriding Petrie on poor player/coaching decisions, the poor job the scouts have done, the Maloofs sticking with Petrie way too long, it will be nice to have a brilliant, analytical eye overseeing the decisions

The renewed interest from the city in the team. Selling out the arena. We see how the team responds on the court when it is a full house and the crowd is going nuts. That in itself will translate to a few more wins a year, even if the players and coaches didn't change.

Most of all, I just want to anticipate the season and have hope and expectations that we can improve again. For the last 4 years, no matter how much I wanted the team to be better, I didn't truly expect it. As of right now, I expect it.

I would like to see Free Agents brought in who matter. Someone like Jarrett Jack and Carl Landry who GSW signed and who helped the team make the Playoffs. I hope to see a veteran savvy PG come in who really knows how to run a team. Calderon would be a nice addition.

I am looking to see who the Kings get as GM. I hope it is Chris Mullin.
Something similar to this struck me as funny. One of the owners of the Kings is Mitch Richmond, a GM could be Chris Mullin, and they could draft Tim Hardaway II as a player. I'm going to leave it at that and see if people see the connection.

Okay, Chris Mullin, Tim Hardaway and Mitch Richmond once upon a time played for the warriors. Tim Hardaway II played the last three years at Michigan. He has entered the draft as a small forward. Last season he averaged 14.5 points and hit on 37% of his three-point attempts. Some figure that he is ranked 56 in this year's draft. Maybe the Kings will draft him. Anyway Chris Mullin and Tim Hardaway were All-Star player’s on the warriors and Richmond was in his third year averaging 22 points a game. For some reason the warriors traded Richmond to Sacramento for Billy Owen the night before the season opened. I was at ARCO when we played against the warriors and let me tell you the warriors really poured it on. I'm sure Mitch was very disappointed leaving a winning team [55/27] and going to a 10th place team [29/53]. The Rock went on to be a 6 time NBA All-Star and was the 1995 All Star Game MVP. Would love to see all 3 on the Kings staff this fall.

This kinda has to do with the arena, but just going somewhere pre and post game to keep the excitement going. I love arco but its location always made it a bit depressing for me. People would just file out and drive home after a big win. Hopefully that will change in about two years !

Ranadive's experience in the professional world. I'm beyond ecstatic we have a real business man who (I think) will surround himself and the team with quality personal and let them do their work. Our organization has been such a joke for years now and I'm really looking forward to seeing us do things the right way and actually want to put a sucessful team on the court

im looking forward to good management, from the top with good owners, a good GM and good coach.

I'm looking forward to becoming an elite nba franchise which I have no doubt will happen.
