Good album and very reminiscent of the year 84 for me. That year in music, there was a whole lot of Prince, Jacko, Madonna, Van Halen, and Springsteen. Purple Rain one of the few albums I own of all the songs I listed in this thread. Imo, "The Beautiful Ones" is his best song other than "Little Red Corvette" and "When Doves Cry". My other faves from the PR soundtrack are "Take Me With U" and "Darling Nikki".
