What are you doing for Thanksgiving?

Like every year, I usually go volunteer at a shelter or food clinic to give our the thanksgiving dinners, hopefully I'll get to see more happy faces that haven't had a good meal in a long time this year.

I'm heading to Sacramento to attend the game tomorrow night and then spend the holiday itself with KG4, Josh and the two little princesses.

About 3 years ago a friend invited a few friends that had families far away. They cooked the turkey and ham and every body else brought the trimmins. You got to meet new people and have some great food. Last year it grew to 40 people. This year there is going to be @ 60.
If you can't be with family this is a great way to meet some of your community that you wouldn't normally get to know.

I'm in Sacramento until Saturday. Headed to the game tomorrow night, hope to catch up with friends I haven't seen in a while Friday. Family time on Thursday.

I avoid black friday like the plague but I may take advantage of online offers.

I am cooking (with some assistance since my mobility is limited). Then I hope to use the 4 days off to take it easy and give my broken rib time to heal.

NOTHING!!!! Staying home with movies and a fire in the fireplace and having gourmet hamburgers!!! I hate turkey! Chances are very good that I won't even get out of my pj's the entire day!

Family Thanksgiving is at my house house - we expect 19 for dinner. Good thing my husband's a chef - he does most of the cooking, and I play hostess.

Yes Larry, I will be hitting the gym Friday to undo whatl I've eaten tomorrow (especially since I won't be going tonight).

The whole family will be at my house for the day. Should be about 25 - 30 people. Good to see some I havent seen in a while, and hopefully watching my broncos get back on track

Unfortunately, the family of my childhood has become fractured due to disputes over rights to property, political matters, and a tragic death.

This will be the first Thanksgiving I will spend without them all gathered. I will be spending thanksgiving with my aunt and cousin, and that's about it. At least it's somebody. Bright side: that could free up time for me to volunteer at a food place like the OP, huh?

BTW, black friday is my birthday, so I expect millions of internet dollars to be waiting here when I check in that day.

I will be doing nothing except watching football, taking my dogs for a walk and watching more football. Oh yea and eating pumpkin pie.

I am going to be spending time with my hubby, my two princesses and my Mommy VF21! Oh yeah, and watching my Cowboys play!!!!

Tonight VF21 and I are heading to the Kings game for some quality Mommy and Daughter bonding time. What could be better than doing that at a Kings game!!!!
