It definitely isn’t Mike Malone’s fault that his roster of very bad defenders failed to somehow play good defense in the playoffs. Paul Millsap might be the best defender on that team and he’s old as the dickens.

One of the reasons I refuse to give up on Malik Monk despite him not being even remotely good his first couple of years in the league.

he's had some explosive scoring games this past season so there are flashes there no doubt. Even if he turns into a 6th man scorer off the bench for some team that's still not a bad pick considering.
