Welcome Quinton Rose

These are the kind of guys you want to take flyers on. Wings who can defend, who if can learn to shoot become valuable NBA players. Kyle Guy is what he is. He can shoot but at his size what role is there for him in the league?

One ”trend” this reinforces is McNair and his front office team really seem to value blocks and steals from the wing position as literally all the guys they’ve added all the way down to Rose are above average in those two factors.

Not exactly a new school of thought but three and D appears to be our thing now
Yeah, it's always hard to tell if a team is following a trend or adapting to changes in the game. And really the difference between those two can only be told in retrospect. But I will say this there's never a bad time to push defense regardless of any adaptations to style of play. It seems in the modern NBA disrupting the three and scoring them yourself at a high percentage is pretty much necessary to be competitive.
