Idk how the metrics work for the ratings but if defensive rebounds is part of it, it’s pretty obvious why it’s gone up so much

As for offense, I mean we’ve all seen our horrendous shooting
It basically looks at how many points a team scores per 100 possessions and how many points they give up per 100 possessions.

A possession is ended by a made field goal, a turnover, or a defensive rebound. If a team gets an offensive rebound, it’s still counted as the same possession so limiting 2nd chance points by being a good defensive rebounding team is one way to improve your DEFRtg.

Here's the relevant part of the interview. Two years to stop being a national embarrassment (not that the race to not suck was never any less urgent before the trade).

"Everything has to go well."
I'm sure money will be part of the calculus, which is a given. I think that this team, as constructed, can be competitive, with the right coach.

It's hard to find guys that WANT to be in Sacramento. Domas and Fox are those guys, we need to make it work with them or else we are definitely stuck with another rebuild. And I mean strip to the bones "trust the process" sort of rebuild.
