superficially it seemed Plowden beat him out but was the 2-way offer we had on Crawford binding or was he free to sign with Houston before we released it? Only reason I ask is because I sort of expected Plowden to sign before Crawford if it was simply the case of being beaten out in SL.

Crawford was a two-way RFA. I didn't hear anything about Houston signing him to a two-way offer sheet but the media aren't going to keep good track of that. We may well have just cut him loose.
He IS a wing that can shoot. Actually thought he got better as summer league went on. Crawford I liked as well but his offense was coming up a little short. I think Plowden has a chance.
Dude earned a look. I know he has been around a bit, but his hustle and drive were off the charts. Don't know if he will make the jump to the NBA, but I will get up to Stockton for a few games. He was fun to watch in SL.

He's also 27. The Kings have a type, no questions haha. This probably is a way to lock him down without having to use any real cap space. If the Kings don't add anything else I'd bet he's just picked up on a standard deal at some point.
