SACRAMENTO - Chris Webber will follow through on his philanthropic commitments in Sacramento even though the Kings forward was traded to the Philadelphia 76ers on Wednesday.

The Crocker Art Museum's exhibit featuring Webber's collection of African American historical artifacts will continue through May 1 as planned, the museum said. "Celebrating Heritage: Art and the Chris Webber Collection" includes personal writings of Frederick Douglass and Malcolm X, among others.

C-Webb's Crew, an initiative of the Chris Webber Foundation, will continue through the end of the Kings season. The project provides 20 tickets to every Kings home game to schools and nonprofit organizations so disadvantaged youths can attend. Webber's foundation is based in Michigan.

"The commitments that were made right now will be carried through, and Chris will always have some kind of presence here in the Sacramento community," said Erika Bjork, director of community development for C Webb Inc.
