Wayne no more

But he doesn't meet the character standard IMHO. http://www.huffingtonpost.com/2013/05/20/terrence-williams-arrested-gun-mother_n_3307923.html There are lots of players out there who don't carry guns when they're dropping off their child with the other parent.

And yet we apparently worked him out in early August, so...

I do wonder what the character stuff really meant. You can be Jerry Colangelo and it can mean you qualify as a Disney princess...well at least until they hit puberty and start acting out. or you can mean character, as in tough/competitive/desperate to win. In other words it might just be code for don't be selfish losers, and they appear to have just pretty much blanket tagged everything that touched the old regime as bad that way.

I understand that Terrence Williams not currently having an NBA contract isn't because of his play on the court. This particular incident was over a year ago, I do believe in second chances. It's a judgement call whether Terrence has learned and grown past this or not. But I also think this would have come up in any face to face meeting with the Kings' front office, which takes me back to where I said "if the interest is mutual" -- which I have no way of knowing obviously.

So looking at how our roster is currently constructed a Smith trade seems more likely now from the outside looking in. Furthermore if all the players involved in the Houston deal are waived and the Kings sign Casspi they still need to sign one more player or two if its a two for one deal in the J. Smith deal.
Is that trade even possible at this point? it's already september. Once training camp begins, i just dont see
it transpiring, tbh. Hopefully im wrong, because im tired of our 4 spot rotation
