Wallace's box score from last night

Insult+injury.......:(

10-14, plus a FT=21pts

15 rebounds

4 assists

8 STEALS:eek:

4 BLOCKS

I'm glad to see Wallace doing well, but I still think he's better off with Charlotte than he ever would have been here. He simply would not have had the opportunities for growth that he's had as a Bobcat.

WTG, Gerald!!!

I was just watching the Kings - Love United video and got to see Wallace's dunk against the Rockets where he just flew over the guy from about the top of the key. That has to be one of the highest dunks I've ever seen. Up there with Kenyon Martins dunk in the olympics.

WHA??????

Get it through your head!!!

Bad jumpshot = bad basketball player!

You would think people don't understand the essence of pro ball is being able to play a mean game of H.O.R.S.E. Sheesh!!! :p

Nice to know that just to add to our humiliation its doubtful we could even trade our current SF for his former backup whom we pawned off on an expansion team.

Pick your SF:
SF #1: 16.6pts (.414 FG% .417 3pt% .926 FT%) 5.0rebs 2.2ast 0.7stl 0.1blk 1.6TO
SF #2: 14.5pts (.539 FG% .316 3pt% .630 FT%) 6.9rebs 2.0ast 2.4stl 2.1blk 1.7TO

SF#2 is putting up Kirilenko #s.

Well now, that's just mean. Pure mean...

...

...

...

...and probably true.

:(

Heh, you guys are so melodramatic.

Wallace is not a great player, and probably never will be. He is however a little more useful than Peja Stojakovic in (what is so far) by far his worst season of his pro-career.

It's not melodrama. It's being sardonic. And it's a good way to survive sometimes.

;)

Man, sure wish he was on the Kings helpig them out righ tnow.....I know he can do a lot of damage.

oh well, at least he is on 2 of my fantasy teams!!!! :D

Oh yhea.. If he was here, he'd be in the spot corner... shooting up 3's :(

Another of Adelman's clear inability to develop a solid NBA contributor. Happy to see him succeeding, unhappy he isn't doing it here.

It's nice to see him thriving, especially if you're one of the many fans who believed in him when he was a King.

Yes, and the first time he dares to get 4 blocks and 15 rebs he would be ceremoniously escorted back to his executive suite in the Dog House. ;)

Although he has been impressive the whole season, Wallace's averages over the last month are simply off the charts:

14.3 ppg, .573 fg percentage, 7.6 rebounds, 2.7 steals, and an incredible 2.9 blocks!!!

The dude is getting more blocks than Ben Wallace, more steals than Iverson, and shooting at a better percentage than Shaq....If that isn't talent, I don't know what is.

Well luckily for us he was not able to follow up his monster performance.

Today he only put up:
19pts (8-13FG 3-6FT) 7reb 3stl 6blk

A sure sign he is slowing down.

As others have been saying, Gerald is having an all around great year. The Kings when playing well have never had trouble scoring but since Christie has been lost as the defensive stopper and defensive glue we really have lost a step in the Wins department. Gerald plays excellent defence and plays with passion. Peja might shoot 3s "better" than anyone in the league but the past couple of months, Gerald has been shooting awesome % (yes maybe he gets dunks but he doesn't miss layups <wink wink>), has been shot blocking like a center and stealing like a point guard. As others have said points aren't everything. Yes Gerald isn't a Superstar but he's a much better player than Peja has been since the 2002-2003 season for Peja.

Why did we keep Peeler exactly ^^. I doubt Gerald would have progressed under our current coaching staff due to the lack of playing time and emphasis on D, but right now he is exactly the type of player we need, a defensive machine with a touch of O without the crazy Artest brings.
