... we were definitely not going downhill with Malone. Given a healthy roster, this was about a .600 team.

Seriously though, why do you keep bringing this up? Are you hoping people will be forgetful? We're not. We have, however, moved on for the time being, unless you want to keep bringing up incorrect statements.
Unfortunately for most of us, 0.6 team is not enough for Vivek/FO. They want more. They think we can have a better future with a better coach. I would rather have that direction wherein the leaders continuously find a way to improve the team, rather than wait for Malone to learn how to coach (just because he is a good friend to them)

The other point is Vivek/FO did not fire Malone in bad faith that they have to apologize for the firing. He was even praised for his contributions (especially in defense) and for being a nice person. He was never kicked while he was down. Vivek/FO were not that evil. Malone was treated with utmost respect. They fired Malone because they see him as not the coach to move forward.

They said nice things about Malone, what more can they say?

IMO, we were going downhill.

Just review the thread "The Fallacy of Hope" (which was created before Malone got fired) and the countless game threads in chronological order.

IMO, there is no reason for apologizing for the firing of Malone. Malone clearly is not the coach to move on for the next few years. He is not the HOF coach that you want him to be. We have had seen enough flaws in him, we were going downhill with or without Cousins playing, and it was time to fire him and move on as quickly as we can. Remove those emotional attachment with Malone, The Fallacy of Hope, and your whatever biases against Vivek/PDA (is it their appearance?) and you can move on.

We are headed into the right direction.
You're just trolling me at this point.

Find another bear to poke. You're not changing my mind.

So, Cousins illness and a weak bench had nothing to do with it? Fine. It's clear you don't get that impact.

As for using game threads to back up any sort of argument, well, I'd assume you'd use something better than knee-jerk reactionism to defend a point.
There's rarely anything of substance in them. I know, I post in them.

I guess we'll just agree to disagree.

You write like the FO knew what they were doing all this time and in fact didnt have a plan. Now the FO, or owner, acts like they had a plan all along. Sorry, this fan base is to educated in basketball matters to believe all this crap.
