Unfortunately for most of us, 0.6 team is not enough for Vivek/FO. They want more. They think we can have a better future with a better coach. I would rather have that direction wherein the leaders continuously find a way to improve the team, rather than wait for Malone to learn how to coach (just because he is a good friend to them)... we were definitely not going downhill with Malone. Given a healthy roster, this was about a .600 team.
Seriously though, why do you keep bringing this up? Are you hoping people will be forgetful? We're not. We have, however, moved on for the time being, unless you want to keep bringing up incorrect statements.
The other point is Vivek/FO did not fire Malone in bad faith that they have to apologize for the firing. He was even praised for his contributions (especially in defense) and for being a nice person. He was never kicked while he was down. Vivek/FO were not that evil. Malone was treated with utmost respect. They fired Malone because they see him as not the coach to move forward.
They said nice things about Malone, what more can they say?
