I love this team!

After all they've gone through, after all that's been said about them, they have NOT disappointed me.

Webber has lived up to the comments some ridiculed him for making. The rest of the team has followed, and the Kings this year epitomize IMHO all that is good and wonderful about NBA basketball.

The wonder is still there. The goosebumps to see how well they pass the ball is still there. The chills when Webber goes up for the alley-oop are still there. The heart-pounding excitement whenever Bobby Jackson steps on the court is still there.

Am I a homer? Oh, yeah. Does it bother me to be called that?

NO WAY!!!

Thank you Kings for reminding me - on a regular basis - what it is I've loved about NBA basketball all these years!

GO KINGS!!!!~

ahhhh there it is :D

i'm with you VF21 I LOVE THIS TEAM!!!!!!

i don't think they've got it fully going yet either. peja still is in a funk ( his hand thing doesn't help) i know miller can rebound better then he has. bibby can shoot better then he has. i LOVE how the team has rebounded from taht awful start.

webber has been amazing. it still amazes me how he can be doing what he is doing after that surgery. i've had knee surgery before, i minor operation, but i'm still tenative about it at time 3 years later. meanwhile he has no cartilidge and he's banging around. i find that to be very impressive.

WTG KINGS KEEP IT UP!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I'M LOVING IT!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

KHFL - Kings homer for life (better that MFFL that Cuban wears).

A "homer" is the term used to describe someone who is totally for the home team. To some it's a derogatory term, used to mean that their support of the home team is total that they're blind to any problems the team might have.

;)

Technical question. Does the team have to be your home team in the sense you either grew up in the home area of the team or you live in the area? In that case I guess I can't be a Kings homer although I have my blinders on all the time :)

Home is where the heart is, dear vj9999. If your heart is with the Sacramento Kings, you're a Kings homer.

Welcome to the club!

:D

Lately, Chris Webber has gotten me as excited as he used to... I'm getting very good vibes from this team.

I'm a homer, too. I believe that this team is very capable of winning the championship.

Well, you know I'm a Homer, however, I am not blind to the problems they have, I just love them in spite of them;)

Oops. I didn't make that very clear, did I? I should have said that some people ONLY think of it as a derogatory term.

And while we're not blind to their problems, we're not constantly worried about pieces of atmosphere striking us on the cranium, either.

;)

Am I considered a homer after I answered a co-worker (who incidentally is a Laker fan) . . . "It's still November, it's April that counts!" . . . when jeered about our 1st 4 games? ;)
