VF21 pledge for the 2005-2006 season

how do you promise to remember that every year is a new year; that what happened in the past IS the past, while promising to keep on hating the lakers??

not that i like the lakers, just thought i'd point that out though.

My comments about this year being a new year and what happened in the past IS the past pertain to our team. As in regardless of what has happened in the past with various players, I'm not going to allow it to taint my perception of this year.

As far as hating the Lakers go, I'm sorry but to parphrase an old expression, "Rooting for a player is skin deep, but hating the Lakers goes clear to the bone."

I promise to:

1. enjoy myself at all times

2. keep everything in perspective - this is, after all, a game

3. not get too high or too low

4. venture out of the Lounge and into the main Kings board more often

5. continue my quest to convert my co-worker from a non-basketball fan into a Kings fan

Great additions, arwen, with the possible exception of #2. It's a game but it's THE GAME!!!
