I'm starting this thread early, since I didn't want to wait another five or six hours to comment on T-Mac's comments in his interview with Stephen A. Smith... he pretty much put himself in the hot seat, didn't he?

he sounded very angry. raised his tempo a little bit, but it sounds like he's up for the challenge. t-mac was right. it is "his team". the rockets cant ride yao ming all series. he's no shaq

Hrm. What did I miss? I didn't see T-Mac's interview with Stephen A. Smith, whom I cannot stand anyway...

I am watching the game, however, and so far I am not much impressed with the Rockets.

Okay, never mind. I just saw it and I think T-Mac should have simply kept his thoughts to himself.

Keep it up, TMac. Let's go Houston!!!

What can I say? I dislike Utah......a lot!!

Day one results:
Chicago...Yay!
Detroit...Yay!
Houston...Yay!
New Jersey......oh well, 3 out of 4 ain't bad. :p

Yeah I was rooting for all the same teams you were. Too bad Toronto couldn't pull it out I think their inexperience really hurt them though.

He's being a martyr. Attention seeker.
You think Kobe would ever put himself out there like that?

I fail to see how he's trying to martyr himself, or seeking any (undue) attention. He only said what everybody in the world is thinking, anyway: if the Rockets fail to get the job done again, nobody in the world is going to say it's because Shane Battier didn't step up, or Chuck Hayes, or even Yao Ming... it IS McGrady's team, whether Chinese fans like it or not, and it IS on him if they don't make it out the first round. He's just beating the reporters to the punch, the way I see it.
