Update on Heidi VanDerveer

Former Monarchs Head Coach (and Tara's kid sister) Heidi VanDerveer has just been named as an Assistant Coach for the Seattle Storm.

She replaces Jenny Boucek, who left the Storm after three years. Jenny played in the WNBA with the Cleveland Rockers, and was also an assistant coach with the Miami Sol and the Washington Mystics.

Even though the weblinked article didn't mention it, Heidi served as an assistant the women's b-ball team at the University of San Francisco ("The Dons") last year.
