Ugly Stretch Coming Up

G-League
Hate to say it but we are heading into an ugly stretch.

In the next month (now to March 6th) the Kings play 14 games. 4 at home and 10 on the road.

Most against good teams too. They will be pretty lucky to go 8-6 or 9-5.

ugly streach to you is a hellacious oppertunity for the Kings o make up ground in the standings. Think opertunity!

All the teams during the stretch are beatable ones. Nothing unusual about this stretch except for the high number of road games. In fact, I see 8-6 as the worst case scenario which has a low probability of occurence. Kings will win their usual 66.7% of games or more.

Has the potential to be an ugly stretch, but then again, has the potential to be a beautiful stretch, either way, what's really going to matter is April, and hopefully June.

The glass is half-full, dangit. ;)

Yep, ugly stretch coming up. I agree with Sorrow that the next 3 game may be the toughest on the schedule in Feburary. The Boston, Chicago, and NJ Nets game seem good for me. Should be 2-1 or better, I'm hoping. Then the Hawks at home, Kings should be able to win.

After that, it's the 6 games roadtrip. I'll worry more about that when the time comes. ;)

I've been looking forward to this stretch since last week. Our bench has proven they can step up, and now all starters can contribute once again.

Huge wins this next week may prove much to the rest of the league and media. It could put our "under the radar" status at risk, especially with Adelman's excellent coaching & POTW & POTM awards to Web & Miller (and hopefully POTW to Bibby). I think we are ready for that.

Agreed. I think this upcoming month could prove very telling and I'm looking forward to it. I have a lot of faith in this team.

:D

10-4 seems realistic to me. Phoenix, Seattle, Detroit and Miami are the main ones that worry me, but we've beat Phoenix, and the Miami game could of gone either way. I think, if everyones healthy, we can beat Seattle this time, we stayed close before and that was with the injuries.

The Orlando games gonna be..weird. First time playing against Christie, should be good.

Call me crazy but that NJ game scares me! Road teams often play poorly the last game before the All Star break.

G M, I'm embarrassed to admit it, but I love the quote in your sig.

I think we can take 7 of the next 10. It's always hardest to predict which 7, even when 3 or 4 of the games are against tough opponents, and the rest are not .

Footnote: Did anyone else notice, of the last five games of the season we play L.A. and Phoenix twice each? That was just WRONG...

it's a tough schedule ahead indeed but the key here is that no one goes down with an injury. perhaps this upcoming schedule is a reason as to why they've taken the liberty to have their bodies rest these past few games(CWebb,Cat & Pedja) though i wouldn't exactly say that they were easy games. expect a few more games to have one of them sit out a game or 2. good gauge/measure for performance on the road. IMHO, i always see road wins as big wins.

Go KINGS!!!!
