Not gonna lie, I feel for Jaylen Smith but being on the other side of the Bagley over Luka narrative for once is practically orgasmic.

Also, for as much crap as we get for the Bagley over Luka thing, the Suns have gone Josh Jackson over De'Aaron, Ayton over Luka despite hiring his national team coach, and now Smith over Tyrese in the last four years alone.

Crazy how hyped that draft was - Tatum and Fox and and Bam are legit - but lots of meh in that lottery. Very much like Doug Christie was just the glue that did all those extra things on top of hitting down open shots and distributing to teammates, he just seems like that missing piece we’ve been needing for awhile now. And the 2016 pick swap with Sacramento netting them Chriss at 8 didn’t work out well either. I don’t know if the Suns have made recent scouting and management changes, but if they haven’t it’s something they should consider.
