Tyrese named rookie of the month

At least the Suns got Mikal Bridges. But yeah - that’s a bad look. Josh Jackson was a terrible pick. Crazy how hyped that draft was - Tatum and Fox and and Bam are legit - but lots of meh in that lottery. Am I going crazy or is Vlade looking ok in hindsight (I know we will never forgive the Luka pick, he would have payed Bogi too much, and may not have drafted Haliburton).

But yes. Haliburton changed my whole outlook on the Kings. The pieces just fit together so much better with him in the mix.
Very much like Doug Christie was just the glue that did all those extra things on top of hitting down open shots and distributing to teammates, he just seems like that missing piece we’ve been needing for awhile now. Can’t expect Fox to do it all unfortunately (I mean he absolutely can but it’s not sustainable)

We always like to think in extreme becsuse, well, we are sport fans. But the truth is usually in the middle and that while Vlade wasn't great, he probably wasn't as bad as we thought, especially if you're considering that we decided to cut tie with him after a rocky Bubble series.

But we will never know at this point so I just enjoy what we have now. :p

Vlade could of had a lineup of

Fox/DMitchell/Luka/Barnes/Dedmon with Buddy off the bench.

Also, for as much crap as we get for the Bagley over Luka thing, the Suns have gone Josh Jackson over De'Aaron, Ayton over Luka despite hiring his national team coach, and now Smith over Tyrese in the last four years alone.
And the 2016 pick swap with Sacramento netting them Chriss at 8 didn’t work out well either. I don’t know if the Suns have made recent scouting and management changes, but if they haven’t it’s something they should consider.
