TYREKE Freakin' EVANS

Here's a few questions...

Anybody remember how bummed we were in getting the 4th pick in the draft?

Anybody remember drooling over some kid in Spain?

(Must have been a dream...)

No questions! Oh one, when are you gonna improve your jumpshot?

You know I recall this dude who used to be around who liked that Rubio kid a lot. Can't remember his name

OK, this is a thread for Evans - we are not going to sidetrack this one (like so many others) by digging at posters who wanted someone else picked in the draft.

I have no problem with digging at some of these posters, because believe me, when Evans screwed up, they'll be back.

Tyreke Evans will soon be the new standard at PG in the NBA.

There has been a shifting trend in the NBA for bigger, and stronger Point Guards, starting with Deron and most recently with Westbrook. With his unique size and strength he is the ultimate mismatch at the position. He will be the model GM's look at in drafting such a guard in the future.

Unbelievably glad he is a King. I think my wife is even a little jealous of my man-crush on him.

I would like to see Chris Webber present him with his ROY trophy. You know, with Webb being the rep at the lottery, feeling like he had let us all down, but this actually turning into a good thing for the Kings. Plus, 4th pick, Webb wore #4, he's the perfect choice, right? Right?

You know, I [edit: hadn't] thought about that in a while. Poor Webb felt so awful about us getting the #4. We should tell him #4 was great for the Kings....again. :)

I agree most heartily!!!

(I saw you at the game, BTW, but didn't get a chance to come up and say hi. We were three rows down on your left. ;) )
