I think he just means size wise... nobody compares to Lebron...he's like Magic Johnson (point guard), Michael Jordan (shooting guard), Julius Erving (small forward), and Karl Maline (power forward) all morphed into one player that can play all positions except center.
 
Tyreke is an obvious comparison to Dwyane Wade imo if we're talking about best case scenarios. Very similar games, size, athleticism, stats, etc.

I kind of agree with this. Basically, Tyreke has nowhere near the potential Lebron does, so we are not comparing their career paths. However, Tyreke is big and strong for his position and has enough speed to burn most bigger players if you put say a strong SG or SF on him. They are both great at finishing inside but have raw middle and outside games. Particularly if you compare Tyreke to an early career Lebron. That part makes sense. Tyreke's passing instincts are nowhere close to even rookie Lebron though. However, his defensive instincts are likely better than early career Lebron.
 
yeah Lebron is the MVP for a reason... their never gonna be alike... totally

but they do have the same type of style... its just Lebron is way more an athletic freak...

I actually dont think Lebron is that amazing of a passer... its just that he gets double and triple teamed and he makes the smart pass almost every time... too bad his team cant shoot he'd be a triple double guy almost every game... LOL!
 
Tyreke will never be LeBron, numbers wise. Hey may put up good numbers but he will never have that gaudy Oscar Robertson-esque stat line.

But Evans DOES have similar star potential. Tyreke is very popular in urban hoops circles and has been touted as the next big thing for a quite a while (see SLAM Magazine, Sports Illustrated, Gunning for that # 1 Spot, etc.). He is no Lebron or Jesus Shuttlesworth in that regard, but the star potential remains.

That star power is something the Kings have needed for a long time.Since Webber was traded, no one has even come close to having the same level of national recognition as #4. Well Ron-Ron did, but not always in a positive way :rolleyes:. I think Tyreke will bring some of that back to Sacramento.

The only other similarities with Lebron are size for position. Anything else is wishful thinking.

The only skill I think Evans may possess that surpasses that of lebrons is dribbling skill. After that its all Lebron. However this isnt about whos better, that answer is obvious. Aside from the obvious comparison of the two players both be physically imposing scoring point guards I dont think theyre to much alike.

It was a joke... basically saying Tryeke has as much in common with Lebron as he does with Quency.

Edit: Further more, I'm starting to like Tryeke. I think he'll be a good player and a solid starter. I really am rooting for the guy!

Ok so in just the couple of days I've been gone Tyreke has become a lock for ROTY, a sure thing AllStar and now is being compared to LeBron?:rolleyes:

Lets let this kid step on on NBA court before we make any kind of assumptions/comparisons please.
