It's a fraud. I can see when the film cuts to the actual ball going through the net. You have to concentrate alot though to spot it.

I have a hard time believing any of this is real. :|

Can someone confirm or deny?
No, these actually are REAL shots...they probably practice several hundred times, but they are real, believe it or not. Check this out:http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ZDNJxodKrZY&annotation_id=annotation_467946&feature=iv

I just watched it a dozen times, these guys are just good!

edit: Check this out, it's an in depth look at this shot in general...the news guy actually confirms they're legit.

I saw a TV spot on these guys. What you see is is the final shot. They may have taken 30 shots or more to make it. Still that's pretty good. But these guys do practice these all the times. So they might make it the first time, or after 30 shots. They record every one and the one that is made, is the one we see.

Yeah you just repeat it 100 times and eventually you make the shot. So the reason why they cheer so much after each make is that the previous 99 tries were misses. It's not difficult, you just need a good throwing arm, but it sure is a lot of legwork for the guy who has to chase the ball after each miss. Fun to watch.
