Look, don't take this personally, but people who thought a Walton/Gentry combo would focus on defense shouldn't be surprised by this year's outcome.
We hired a comically bad head coach who can't develop youth and turned it over to a coach who stressed a philosophy of trying to make sure we had the ball in our hands for the last shot, regardless of score. The one thing I will say about Gentry (and possibly Doug) is that they're at least salvaging Bagley and it looks like they're developing the kids.
Any trades made this year won't "fix" what's wrong. We'll need to wait until the end of the year to see what can be done at the front end of the bench.
