Trade Deadline Thread

I’m ready to trade Fox, along with everyone else not named Mitchell, Haliburton, Davis and Queta. I wouldn’t mind having Metu and Jones as backups at the 4 and 5.
I thought Fox was inspired to play defense this year, but alas, it’s just another year of false hope.
Look, don't take this personally, but people who thought a Walton/Gentry combo would focus on defense shouldn't be surprised by this year's outcome.

We hired a comically bad head coach who can't develop youth and turned it over to a coach who stressed a philosophy of trying to make sure we had the ball in our hands for the last shot, regardless of score. The one thing I will say about Gentry (and possibly Doug) is that they're at least salvaging Bagley and it looks like they're developing the kids.

Any trades made this year won't "fix" what's wrong. We'll need to wait until the end of the year to see what can be done at the front end of the bench. It's no secret that a good coach can build a winner out of a Fox/Hali backcourt, if that's the direction this FO is going, and you're being deliberately obtuse if you...well...damn.

If we somehow keep Bagley or turn him into someone who pairs perfectly with Sabonis I will chill a whole lot. But all reports were we were looking to move him by the deadline which almost certainly meant we would be discounting him.

You don't trade for Sabonis and tank. The Kings are in a "win now" mode but would end up in the same spot as always unless more moves are made.
Would be such a short sighted bonehead move to go for the 10th seed, lose and also lose the top pick. Need a better player than fox or sabonis to make some noise in the west.

But we’ll make the “playoffs” get stomped in a single game, then probably hang a banner because we didn’t set the futility record. My god we rock.
