They The North.
We The....Umm...Beam???????

All things considered, I wouldn't necessarily say that I am too thrilled about going 2-1 so far this week. Because we should actually have gone 3-0, with a chance at sweeping our schedule. But, we lost against Charlotte, and we also allowed a far inferior team to take us to 2OT. Honestly, I am probably way more annoyed at needing 2OT to beat Orlando than I am at losing to Charlotte...

But, today's a new day.
Tonight's a new game.

Let's just go out there and show our friends from the North just exactly who we really are...

Because, it's almost time to...

Re the Orlando loss, I was curious to see where it fell all time in terms of 3 point percent in a loss. Since current leave average is 35 3PA per game, I limited it to 30+. By that metric the Magic has the 6th highest percent ever in a loss:

https://www.statmuse.com/nba/ask/be...-more-than-30-3-point-attempts-in-a-loss-ever

The highest was 59.4%. and the Magic at one point were 67% - maybe even at the end of regulation - which means it was a historic achievement that we didn't lose

There's poor 3 point defense but when a team is hitting 60%+ you have to tip your hat to an extent. So even tho Magic are a team we should easily beat, our win was by some measures a historic one

and if you didn’t see the post in the Magic thread, it was the second most 3 pointers made in a loss. The first being the Clippers loss to us last year.

Looking forward to going to the game (minus my damn siactia that’s inflamed so no jumping up and down tonight) i’m really hoping we get this win! Then we turn around and deal with Pelicans on Sunday. I just keep muttering “I believe” because I do!!

And finally.. LIGHT THE BEAM

Honestly they were just flat have a very good night... Banchero had a career night in fact. Some points of criticism for the kings and deed but that was definitely a team effort to beat a team who couldn't miss when the Kings went cold. New night, new game, new team. I'm just hopeful that there's nothing serious going on with Fox and he's back to form tonight.

Someone please attend and get a "W" for us. I'll be a couple hundred feet away at Punch Bowl Social for a company event. Hopefully they have the game up on a screen in our room. :) I'd really like to see a beam up in the sky when I get out of there!

Edit - I just found out my wife has not yet seen The Beam in person - hopefully we can rectify that tonight!

Getting ready to leave soon for our game and win tonight, but have Fox news on, God how I hate trade deadlines etc. I guess we should keep an eye on Pascal tonight as his name is being thrown about with a trade with the Kings even De’Aaron Fox had a comment to say about him…hmmm the news brought up HB,Huerter and Davion for trade package….

Sports 1140 just announced that trade talks are off for the Kings getting Pascal as of 6 minutes ago…But we all know that doesn’t mean things can’t change
Sorry @SLAB I guess he will be leaving the building tonight
They're probably asking for Keegan. Hell no, I wouldn't even trade Keegan straight up for Siakam. I think Keegan will be a better player eventually. If it's not because of them asking for Keegan, then I don't see a reason why the Kings wouldn't do the trade. JUST DO IT!!

Well, that's assuming that the Raptors have a short timeline on moving on a deal. I'm sure Ujiri is going to milk it to see what he can get. There for sure going to be a bit of bidding war if he waits. Monte has been talking to the Raptors for like 2 years now it seems? Every option for a trade has already been discussed I'm sure. If Monte doesn't want to move Keegan and the Raptors won't take anything less then Monte had a very quick conversation and that was that.

Please play hard tonight. This isn't the second night of a back to back, but for some reason you guys like to lay a stinker-egg after a hard fought game too.
