Siakam is a good player but if Ujiri wants a superstar level package good luck. Final year of his contract aside. Lets say the Warriors do trade for him. It would certainly suck because that makes it tougher for a tough West but does that push the Warriors back into contention? It's really a toss up.

He used to be their primary offensive option. Lots of post ups before. They’ve got Scottie Barnes now with the alpha role, and with Quickley he’s looks like their secondary option. I hear Siakam’s been a complete professional in spite of a lesser role

Yep, bumping him back up to 4th option by moving Huerter out of the lineup for a 3-and-D option really might have been all he needed.
