Tonights Line up

Hall of Famer
With Doug gone and Mobley not likely to play the question is who will start at the 2. The obvious answer is Mo Evans which brings me to the point of this thread. So far Mo has played great ball and clearly taken advantage of his court time, so in many ways tonight is BIG for him. A good showing will not only lock up further minuets as a King but will get him the attention he can leverage into a firm roster slot next year either with the Kings or elsewhere (maybe even start) Here is to hoping that Mo contenues to take advantage of his oppertunities and puts on a show in Arco against Denver tonight!

This will be a good game to see more of Mo and Kevin ... they will have major minutes , i hope they rip it up out thier !

IMO even when Cat starts, it will take a few games for him to lock up 30+ minutes. Mo has an advantage over him because he already knows the offense & and his place in it. Don't forget House is in the mix too...

I think you are going to see House, Evans, Martin and even Barnes get some minutes tonight.

Evans and Bibby will start in the backcourt with House and Martin backing them up. Barnes will spell Peja but knowing Adelman he will probably play both Bibby and Peja 48 minutes and only sub in Martin for Evans and wear these guys down.

I predict Kevin will start, much as he did in the pre-season when Doug wasn't available.

I'd go with Kevin. I think we need Mo's punch off the bench. Kevin needs to be aggressive, the last couple games he hasn't made the extra effort to make his presence felt. He seems to have a tendency to be a bit laid back, which we, and more importantly, he, can not afford tonight. He should consider this game a bid for playing time. I know he can do it

Kingsgurl, you may be right about starting Martin and saving the Beast for instant offense.

I'm not sure, but I think KevMartin started that game....He was high in the pre-season, even the analysis in nba.com was high on the Kings rookie...

I think he started when Doug was injured..
