We had a little server problem last night (which Variant has apparently fixed). Do you use mIRC? I will head there now, and see if there is a problem.

No...I have NO idea what Mirc is..I am like a preschooler when it comes to the computer, I'm taking baby steps....

There are new members who want to use our chatroom (particularly during games) and don't know how to use mIRC (or what it is for that matter). Any assistance for these folk would be appreciated.

you could get mIRC at mirc.com

1) go to mirc.com http://mirc.com/

2) then click "download mIRC" (it's on the left side) http://mirc.com/get.html

3) then pick whichever country you want. i picked an american country when i was in the philippines, so it doesn't really matter which one you pick.

then go on from there.

having said that, you don't have to specifically use mIRC. you can use any IRC you have on your computer.

then this is what you type when you open it

/server irc.bludgeon.org

then the channel is #kingsfans
