There's a lot of talk of weather the Kings should keep/move Cousins in the media and around everywhere pretty much, but watching this years playoffs it's pretty much proved for you to have any success in them unless you have Lebron you NEED a super-skilled big man (which Cousins is) to go with a a solid defensive/smart big.
Every single team that failed badly and had high expectations lacked a quailty big in the mold of Cousins
(I did not inlcude GSW/Bulls (still need someone better than Boozer)/Lakers/Boston due to them having massive injuries and the latter 2 being old as hell, the only exception would maybe be Atlanta who had a good PF/C but couldn't do much)
On the other hand every team thats gone deep has very good bigs
Memphis: Z-Bo/Gasol just are a elite combo
Indiana: David West/Hibbert same as the Memphis combo with not as good passing
Spurs: Duncan?Splitter: Any team with Duncan is going to beast and Spliiter is excellent off the ball
Miami: Birdman & Bosh, one's elite shooter and very skilled other is a fearless defender (Lebron/Wade help to lol)
The final 4 all have perfectly paired couples @PF/C who are talented players so your probably wondering whats this got to do with Cousins, there are very few C's in the NBA who have a game built for the playoffs (proven this year), imo DMC happends to be one of them. The playoffs have shown how important Bigmen who can create for themselves really still are even though everyone claims its a guard dominated L.
What the Kings need to do is find Cousins a better partner @PF than JT (he will be great off the bench), with so few really skilled bigmen capable of adapting there games in the playoffs the Kings must hold on and help Cousins on the court far more cause he really can be a massive difference maker. If the Kings long term goal is to have success in the playoffs than you need a player of Cousins skill level to go somewhere (along with other decent players off course).

- Denver: Faried/Koufus/Magee are all garbage men who couldn't do anything against Bogut on the offensive end or in general without being spoon feed and could do nothing to contain the likes of Landry on the other end and pretty much had no impact on the game at all.
- Houston: Even when Westbrook went down Houston just couldn't do it, Asik was solid but his terrible hands along with having to bench Greg Smith (for being an awful player) and not having a low post option hurt them badly against a depeleted Thunder team, Houston only had 1/2 of the equation.
- OKC: Who knows where they could have gone with WB but for years they have been held back by Perkins/Ibaka, nethier can do anything on offense on there own (Perkins can't do anything wide open), and really they allow better defensive bigs to roam off them and double the likes of Durrant, on top of them there overrated D which was badly exposed by Memphis was really a massive difference in the series.
- Clippers: DJ is arguably with Perkins the worst starting C in the L, his terrible IQ along with his low confidence just make his a overrated disaster who only throws down amazing dunk when open, but with all the extra pressure put on CP3 this was never going to happend. Blake has improved by his still terrible footwork and reliance on garbage buckets means his game is still not 100% built for the playoffs and he struggled against stronger and far more skilled opposition.
- NYK: No offense from any of there bigs and more overrated D from the likes of Chandler & Martin just a complete lack of talent on the frontline in terms of ability to create
