They don't give up!

Any questions?

Yes, I know we lost. But we didn't give up, we didn't surrender.

When we were down I felt like turning off the TV but seeing them still fighting for every inch made me keep the TV on. This is a good young team with a good coach. Cant wait for the future.

And, it is just that never give up attitude and effort that will have the Kings winning more games than many people (including fans) expected.

I LOVE THESE GUYS!!

We just played one of the best teams in the league tough on their home court. If we could keep the TO's down we start winning games like this.

I wonder how long this new "never give-up" character of this Kings Team is going to last.

I hope before the tradeline, Hawes gets traded to change the roster a little bit. We won't be winning with this kind of a softie center. We might end-up losing too much and players will start getting frustrated until such time we go back to the old "no effort" Kings Team again.:o

I hope it won't happen. I really hope we get a true defensive center who is not as soft as our current one. :(

How much you bet that there are some major networks regretting making the decision to not air the Kings this year. I wish more people could see this team, especially Tyreke Evans play ball. This is going to be a great year to be a Kings fan!! :D

If the attitude keeps up, don't be surprised to see the Kings actually show up on national network TV at least once or twice.

Man, this feels so much better than the last few years. I think that is why a lot of us just want to explode with excitement. You know? I'm starting to feel proud of the Kings again. I haven't felt this way in a long time.

As I stated to mi amigo Cruzy privately. We didn't lose this game because of lack of effort. Nor did we lose this game because of lack of talent. We lost this game because of lack of experience. If you have the first two, the last on will take care of itself. I'm proud of the effort tonight. Yeah, we made a lot of mistakes. But I'm proud of the effort...:)

I am terrified that Hawes has the "slacker-don't-give-a-damn" bug from years past, and he sneezes on the plane and...

...That's were I always wake up, sweating and crying.

Good point!

I'm very proud of my team and my signature...

Sacramento Kings - The passion is catching!

Yep, I know in some past seasons TNT has changed scheduled games and went with a hot match-up usually later in the season. Maybe Kings won't necessarily be fighting for low playoff seed in the winter/spring 2010 but they might be extremely competitive, exciting, and acting as a big-time spoiler night in and night out. We can hope!

I am so happy with the effort of this team. The attitude is so different this year. I am excited to see this team play the rest of the year as they develop.

I like this young Kings team a lot. Rebounding and Defense!!!! Who would have thunk it:D

I did like that Dirk got thumped on the head a couple times when he went into the paint to score.

By the way the Mavs lose this one without Goodens rebounding, Terrys scoring OR the 20+ Kings TO's.

Last year we weren't even competitive and I didn't expect much so I wouldn't be as upset after a loss or a bad loss because we were horrible but this year it's been such a turnaround that I'm getting worked up over the games again.

I love the way we play, this kind of play is what basketball is all about.

We lost a close one, they fought hard. I'm so not mad at the outcome, they played a good game. I enjoyed it.

Tyreke and beno play really well together and this team matches up better against the mavs than the spurs and lakers do.

Good effort tonight - wonderful to see. Looked like the offense was much more fluid tonight. Portends well for the future if they can keep this up.

This team plays so much harder than last years team..

I like to watch this team play.. Anyway... Hawes is beginning to pee me off though. He has so much talent yet he seems to get down on himself and gets bitten by the depression bug like Miller, and Salmons used to. Someone give the kid some prozac already.

If Evans continues to play like this when Martin is back I will have a big fat "I WAS WRONG" to give to everyone. I'm not looking forward to that day. You can tell the kid is going to be good and whether it's at PG or SG I don't care..

Tyreke's a beast, I don't think there is a player that you can put next to him that won't be able to drop 20 on any given night. He has that passion to win, to succeed, to be the best and its obvious that opposing teams recognize this and throw their books at him.

That is not something that can be taught. He has imposed his will and personality on this team. He is down to fight until the clock runs out, and he is going to give it his all.

Westphal has the rest of them believing, Beno especially believes as do most of the rest of them even in the face of the last few seasons, and a team that believes is going to fight for what they believe.

Great draft, great hiring, great product to watch. I tip my hat to Mr. Petrie for standing in the face of mounting pressure and drafting both JT and Evans. Those are big steel balls folks.

I have a question... When the F**K are they going to stop turning the ball over? Overall though I was happy with the performance, just I got really irritated seeing the ball get turned over so much.

Secretly, I bet you are. I bet you want to see nothing more than for Evans to work out and lead this team back to prominence. I've given you hell but I have respected your posts for a long time and I know deep down inside all you want to see happen is for the Kings to be back on top again. And how it happens doesn't matter so much to you as does the fact that it did happen.

They didn't get blown out. That is infinitely better than committing fewer errors. The errors happened because they were TRYING, as opposed to NOT trying.

These are 100% my sentiments also. This team with a shotblocking center would be TOUGH. Im atleast pleased that the FO is looking for one. However im a little more upbeat about this team than yourself. Maybe.

I would actually expect Evans to have a good game against the Mavericks. They dont really have a guard that can defend him well and once he gets to the basket theres still nobody there that can stop him.

Im very excited about this team given how much room for improvement there is.
