go kings!
i guarantee the kings get either the 1st or 2nd pick.

for all the negative thinkers out there. the bulls had a 1.8 percent chance when they landed the number 1 pick and got d rose

I don't even know if I wanna watch(although I undoubtedly will) this time since the last two were pretty tough to swallow until the draft came along.

meh. I'm not all that worried about it this year since I don't believe there is a Griffen/Wall/Rose type of a player this year anyway. I don't think there will be that much of a difference between #1 and #5.

I'm fine with Irving/Williams/Kanter/Knight. If we walk away with one of them, I'll be happy. Otherwise consider packaging it. While Irving and Williams should be stars, Kanter and Knight would both help immediately. I'm not too fond of the idea of drafting someone who isn't ready to contribute. I'm of the opinion the last thing we need right now is youth that isn't ready to contribute. We already have that in Whiteside, who I do believe will be part of our rotation in 2 years.

Kanter will be nice since i move from israel to turkey this september. Nba coverage in turkey will focus much, much more on our kings if we got kanter. I was lucky when casspi was drafted while i was here so who knows maybe petrie follows my moves more closely than what i had assumed. And sorry but i don't bother with capital letters when writing on my ipad.

From article

"Johnson pointedly said the Maloof family, which owns the Kings, must contribute financially to the new arena. While the amount the Maloofs would contribute is unclear, "they've got to participate in some shape or form," Johnson said."

This is what worries me. Can we afford to loan them a significant sum at a low rate

Who is we? The city just backs the loans to get a lower interest rate, outside investors put up the money.

So did we get fifth alone or do we split it?
We tied with New Jersey (pick going to Utah) for 5/6, and won the coin toss. The coin toss means we get one extra combo, and in the event that neither we nor New Jersey (Utah) move into the top three, we pick ahead of them.

I'm down with Biyombo. I also think T-Jones (he's still in it right?), is a darkhourse for our pick, assuming he can play the 3.

Naturally I want one of Kyrie or Williams if we're top 2. But we all know thats not gonna happen :p

Guess the coin toss didn't make the headlines while we were worrying if there would even be a team in sac at all...?

That one slipped by me. I'm a little disappointed in myself to tell you the truth.

Am I the only one that found it weird that this is the lottery countdown thread and no one mentioned the lottery date or any sort of countdown?

MAY 17th

No, he dropped out of the draft.
