As people know every year I put together a kickoff vid, and update our scouting reports. I stumbled across this new (put up July 26) really well done vid in the process of my work. Thought I'd share it.
The Boogieman video got nice editing, but it doesn't have enough substance. Too many dunks from the very last second of the action. His best skill is his footwork IMO, which is somewhat absent from that video.
Hopefully this is the year Cousins evolves into Godsins, that's a crazy good video btw, but I do agree with the poster above a lot of his best skills were not showcased but still a beyond epic video I could watch all day.
Heh, I knew just from the abbreviated link what quote the author was going to use as his launching point here. Good deal.
On the other hand the author seems as interested in pummeling Melo as he does in lauding Cuz, and even throws in a "he doesn't have a max contract" bit about Cousins that is, er, well...wrong.
Still I'll cheerfully take this sort of story -- this is that narrative change again. As recently as a year ago it was so cool to pile on Cuz that idiots who knew nothing about him would randomly throw him in articles about everything that was wrong with humanity. Now after a lot of work and the FIBA summer you get people who don't know about Cuz randomly using him as a positive example.
That HuffPost article is pretty bad. It's non-analytical potshots at Melo backed up by basic stats. And then throws "Cousins dun good see" to make it seem like anything other than an attack on a player.
