hey everyone i emailed craig amazeen
and i got an email back from mitch germann

"Thanks so much for taking the time to write us about the NBA Rookie of the Year Award. We truly appreciate hearing from all great Kings fans like you.

This year, the NBA is not announcing the postseason awards schedule in advance. Therefore, we won't find out until right before the award is announced. We are hoping to hear something this week or next week at the latest."

Keep an eye on Kings.com for all the latest news.

Thanks again, and Go Kings!

Sincerely,

Mitch Germann
VP, Business Communications

funny because i was just on NBA.com looking for the awards schedule, then immediately came over to this site and saw this thread.

the suspense is killing me. c'mon Tyreke the freak

They just announced Scotty Brooks as Coach of the Year so probably no ROY annoucement today.

In the past years, they usually announce ROY the next day after DPY is announced. I wonder why they changed it this year....

well we know MVP is last (and who its gonna be), so what other awards are there to still be announced...6th man, most improved, roy...i gotta be missing something. So that means it could be tomorrow @ the earliest if they continue w 1 a day or the end of next week maybe if they decide to spread them out. Im guessing ROY will be 2nd to last. so we could still be a week away. We shall see, regardless REKE 4 ROY!!!!!!!

http://www.nba.com/awards/ .....no sign of ROY....interesting.

They must be getting some good web traffic and clicks about all the made up closeness of the race.

Whats interesting is how few votes for third place they predicted for Evans. Looks like for most everybody, he's either #1 or #2. That bodes very well.

Yeah, that's what I've been saying for a long time now. The Curry camps and the Jennings camps mostly compare their guy to Reke and talk about how they should win it over him and when those voters vote for one over Reke, they will most likely put Reke 2nd.
