Squint hard enough and the major impact star on the Pacers is Mathurin. If he takes a leap up the Pacers could escape the fate of other one and done finals teams of recent.

The Pacers are really giving their fans something to be proud of, the 3rd quarter is a huge one for the Thunder. They might want to be prepared for a full on charge from the Indy at the start of the 3rd. The Thunder panicked in game 1 when Indy didn't fold. Lets see if they get rattled again and start launching 3's like they did.

Copying these two franchises would be a good idea. Be smart with trades and start developing those draft picks. Keep cutting corners and overpaying to do it and watch it all poof away for the millionth time.

He and Hali is a good match. Interesting how they are used, if a superteam era forms again they'll probably be playing together a lot more. Mathurin's the body, Hali is the mind.

When you step back and look at these teams, the Pacers do actually have a lot more talent than the Thunder. We're teetering on two wins away from maybe the Thunder having to finally cash it in and take a jump up. Hopefully they put it all on KD, haha. The fear with the Thunder is they win titles while just simply restocking over and over which would put them in that Spurs forever in the way kind of deal. The West is freaking hard enough.

It'll suck and yeah, if the Spurs form a superteam then when Fox wins one it's going to hurt way worse haha. For the short team anything that makes the Thunder move on their cache of goodies is much better for the long term if you're any team in the West.
