A look around the league and the Web that covers it. It's also important to note that the rotation order and starting nods aren't always listed in order of importance. That's for you, dear reader, to figure out. C : Hardwood Paroxysm . Mike Woodson's hosting a celebrity golf tournament that features a signature cocktail called "The Woody" and a grand prize called "The Woodson Jacket," and frankly, I can't believe you're still reading this, because why aren't you eagerly entering your credit card information into a secure Web form to gain entry into this tournament right now ? PF : Cavs: The Blog . Nate Smith offers a very thorough consideration of the pros and cons of the Cleveland Cavaliers putting together a monster package to import Kevin Love. SF : Golden State of Mind . Evan Zamir takes a "Real Plus-Minus" -based look at projected win totals for the Golden State Warriors if they make the long-rumored Love-for-Klay Thompson trade , and if they don't make it. The results might surprise you. SG : Sports Illustrated . Just how far-reaching was the impact of LeBron James' long wait and eventual decision to return to the Cavs? As Rob Mahoney's wonderful visualization shows, it impacted nearly every other free-agent move thus far this summer. PG : The Cauldron . Jim Cavan on the latest twist in the ongoing NBA saga of new Los Angeles Lakers point guard Jeremy Lin, whose story "isn’t cyclical so much as a spiral, recurring cycles of ecstasy and pain winding up along an axis of fortune and fame." 6th : The Hook . Ghostface Ziller on how the Lakers' uninspiring summer haul — Lin, Carlos Boozer , big money for Jordan Hill and Nick Young , and Ed Davis — lays bare the truth that many of us proclaimed months ago : "… in the new NBA, the Lakers cannot rise again until Kobe's anchor-like contract is cast off." 7th : The Diss . Jacob Greenberg on the Sacramento Kings' seemingly ongoing efforts to confuse anyone interested in figuring out what they're doing from a roster-building perspective, and the chances that despite a whole new cast of characters, the "state of mind" from the organization's dysfunctional past might carry on into the future. (And for an impassioned, at times vulgar, counterargument, we turn to Robby Biegler at Sactown Royalty .) 8th : TrueHoop TV . Kevin Arnovitz and Giannis Antetokounmpo hit the buffet in Las Vegas and chat about driver's ed, trash talking and hunger (both literal and metaphorical) over lunch. 9th : Pro Hoops History . Before he became a legendary Indiana Pacers coach and broadcaster, "Slick" Leonard was, briefly, an aging star point guard for the NBA's expansion Chicago Packers. Curtis Harris details Slick's last year in the setting on-court sun. 10th : The Oklahoman . The Oklahoma City Thunder are looking to move their D-League affiliate, the Tulsa 66ers, into Oklahoma City, which would make them one of only two pro teams (the Los Angeles Lakers being the other) whose D-League affiliate operates the same city as the big-league club. That'd make life a lot easier on the young dudes being shuffled back and forth from the Thunder to the 66ers, and maybe help the coaching staffs and front offices align more closely, too. - - - - - - - Dan Devine is an editor for Ball Don't Lie on Yahoo Sports.
