Word is that Justin and Dahntay are being cut to make room for the new players from the Bibby trade.

So, thanks to both of them for their time as Kings. And GOOD LUCK to both of them wherever they go.

I'll make a separate thread for discussion. Let's leave this one as the traditional Kingsfans.com thank you. Thanks.

I dont want to see Justin go but what needs to be done, needs to be done.
At least he had the great game against Houston..so he should have a shot at making another squad.

Thanks, Justin and Dahntay. Neither of you were appreciated the way you should have been, finding a better situation should be easy, and probably the best for both of you. Just do me a favor, PLEASE, and don't become Lakers. If you can manage that, I'll root for you wherever you go.

I just can't believe some of our management's decisions... :(

I'm not too familiar with the rules, but if we have to cut someone, why can't we cut Kenny? or Mikki Moore?

I love Justin, and have a feeling in about 3 years, we'll be talking about him the way we talk about Gerald Wallace (i.e., which front office idiot decided to let him walk?)

Thanks Justin... Here's to hoping we come to our senses and re-sign you in the near future...

We're waiving Dahntay Jones and Justin Williams, who are making next to nothing on one year contracts. If we "cut" or waive Kenny Thomas, we would have to pay him the FULL amount of his contract. The same goes for Mikki Moore. BUT this is the thank you thread - and those questions are already being discussed, I think, in the other thread about their departure.

:)

It's bad having to say goodbye to one person in one day...

Three in one day is really pushing it.

Goodbye Justin and Dahntay, may your time here lead both of you a job in the NBA. It is what it is and what's done is done.

Both guys are awesome, i liked Justin since i first saw him, he was a breath of fresh air on a bad team last year, im always for the underdogs anyway, best of luck to him.

Jones was great, his minutes got cut a lot after everybody returned from injuries, but it was fun while it lasted.

Thanks guys, and i hope to see them back in the NBA soon.

Wish we could have held onto Justin. But hey, maybe Shelden Williams can fill that rebounding hole.

Does anyone else find it ironic that we got a Dukie (Williams) in a trade on the same day that we waived another one (Jones)? I'm going to miss Jones' defense, that's for sure.
