Team USA WC 15-man roster... (merged)

It's funny that now and lately, various people are questioning whether zone defense should be played on USA. Which Team USA haven't seen that much, or as thought to be, anyways.

As expected, Team USA ultimately had enough jumpshooting for what they could get out of the group of 20+ players for this years WC. It has, indeed, been shown for the most part through out this years play.

Bron and Wade might be all fun to watch on tv and stern wants to showcase them year after year in the playoffs but they get exposed in real basketball with refs not controlled by stern.

You should've waited until they started actually playing the games before you went off. Wade has scored almost a point per minute and is shooting a Shaq-like 61.7% from the floor. LeBron is letting his all-around skills shine and making it look easy. Eventually, I think he's going to pick his spot to really explode and take over a game or two.

The team-wide chemistry, especially with the guys from '03 draft class, has been splendid to watch. If everyone stays healthy and together, this team is going to be a machine when the core group hits their prime.

a random note on watching the u.s.-aussie game last night: brad miller did not look much improved. =T he's still having trouble sliding laterally to cut off his man, and even though he's leaner he doesn't appear to have put on any muscle.

I noticed that too. His body doesn't look any stronger and his mind isn't right either. I was hoping he'd get a jump on his conditioning for the season being involved in this, but that's not happening.
