Survivor: Fiji Islands

now thats what i call a tribal council. oh it was obvious gardy was going, but the looks on their faces LMAO!

i'm rooting for earl and yau man, one of them to win it all.

Of all the remaining survivors I have to root for Yau-man. I hope he finds the remaining immunity idol and doesn't tell anyone. I think he may have to use BOTH of them to remain in the game.

I wasrooting for Yao, and may still, but he seems to have gotten a bit cocky lately. None of the others are "root worthy".

I always try and keep in mind that the directors pick which clips to show so sometimes the person they're "featuring" may appear differently because of what they didn't show more than what they did...

That's true.

I don't really like any of them this season though. Maybe they need to edit it to make someone/anyone somone to root for?? :p

i'm rooting for earl or yau. this season's cast is pretty bad. i usually have one person i'm really behind. this year not so much. i'm picking a winner by default almost.

just not much intrest. they need to do a better job of casting.

I like the characters in this season. I think there is lots of thought-provoking and interesting scheming going on. I personally would be happy to see any of <<casandra, Earl, Yao>> win.

(as long as Stacy doesn't win, my inner clock of justice is satisfied ;) )

I thougt the scheming between Alex/Edgardo and the Earl/Yao/Casandra was really REALLY interesting and fun. I'm a little bit disapointed that nobody looked forward and broke the alliance and used Alex to help make a power-play last week, but I understand how most of them would play it safe right now (stacey and/or Dreamz and/or boo REALLY should've made a move, possibly with cassandra as well... but, whatever)

I thought this season has gone fairly well, overall. (I'm also glad they tinkered with the immunity idol, and made it weaker this season.)

PERFECT read by Yau on the situation. So now we have Cassandra, Earl, Dreamz, Boo and Yau left. Earl has the other hidden immunity idol so the next immunity challenge is HUGE. If Earl or Yau can win it, they're totally in control. I loved the idea of Yau making the deal with Dreamz... GREAT play by Yau. I'm really rooting for him now.

Remember, the conclusion is this Sunday.

He never said to Dreamz that he had to TRY his hardest to win the challenge.

Dreamz can just sleepwalk through and still maintain his word. Yes, Dreamz cannot win immunity for himself (without breaking his word), but it seems like an expensive price for the opportunity to vote out one individual, especially an individual that seems like he wouldn't be a bad choice to have against you in the final 2.

The 5 person vote should be damn interesting (Also , why are they going to the finale with 5? is there going to be a "twist", or are they really going to have three tribal councils?)

fo the 5 person vote, the daggers seem like they are goig to be damn sharp. Yao and Earl are now a semi-isolated block onto themselves. Dreamz and Cassandra likewise. Boo is a semi- free agent (but he sided wth Dreamz/Cas last time, so call him leaning that way).

Buuuut... Yao and Earl have ONE immunity idol that is currently unrevealed (but you gotta figure the others suspect they have it, having been to the island the last two times), the playing of that is going to be a huge game of liars dice :)

OR they'll likely be able to swing one of the the others (boo?) to avoid the POSSIBILITY of having to go against the idol.

this seems like its gonna be a scheme-fest... hope they don't disapoint
(I think Cas is history, but she has shown herself to be a decent schemer herself)

earl for the win.

bank on it. thats my guess at least

thank god that you-know-what stacy is gone. i did not like her. dreamz is delusional. like he can actually afford to pay for that car. are you kidding me? i bet the taxes on that thing are more then he can afford, not to mention gas and isurance..... GREAT move by yau man to give it to him. great strategy.

Well, that was interesting...and more than a bit dissapointing.

I guess I'm just old-fashioned, but when you make a deal and shake hands, it should matter. When you give your word, it should matter. I don't care if it's about "the game" or not, Dreamz was totally wrong... and I'm very glad the jury felt the same way.

Cassandra didn't get any votes because she didn't deserve any. Dreamz didn't get any because he stabbed Yau-man in the back. Earl was the right choice, both because he did play the game the best AND he was honest about why he cast his vote for Yau-man.

Next season - in China - should be incredible.

Yeah... I know it is a game, but Dreamz shot himself in the foot when he made the deal with Yaoman. If he gives Yaoman immunity, he is voted off. If he keeps immunity, no one will vote for him. I guess, in a way, his actions sealed Earl's win; if Yaoman had gone to the final three, Earl and Yaoman would have split votes giving both a good shot at winning. But was Dreamz friendship with Earl that great? Dreamz made a bad decision when he agreed to the deal and then another when he went back on the deal. I would hope I would do things differently if I were given the same situation, but there is no way to tell as I will never be confronted with the same situation as Dreamz...

I think Cassandra's playing of the game has been undervalued.

Don't forget that when the "4-horsemen" were making their big play, and going to knock out the other alliance, they said if they cut off the head it would die on the vine, and the head they identified was Cassandra. That partially can be attributed to Earl being good at staying in the background, but Cassandra was also very good at playing the IMPORTANT part of the game (strategizing).

It was amazing that she survived the early "vote out the weak" portion of the team-based challenges (same with Yao), and even SHE seemed surprised by it. But she played a good game. Winning challenges isn't the measure of a "good player", in my book.

all that said, Earl was a good choice as well.

ok the final 3 thing is really annoying me. thats 2 years in a row that a worhtless person has been dragged to the finals, gets no votes, and pretty much adds nothing to it.

go back to the final 2 format!!!!!! i freaking hate this final 3 BS! the early jury is pissing me off as well.

earl won and swept it, thats awesome. he deserved it. he suffered hell at the early ravu, but found a way to perservere. good for him

bring on china. hopefully with a better cast. this seasons was pretty pathetic. this was my least favorite season. i'm such a die hard fan of the show, but their extreme twists and turns, coupled with lame castings are really turning me off.
