Both of these match-ups look promising.

While I think Vader would have little problem retaking the Death Star, especially with the Alien queen to take out the defenses, I don't think that Starbuck's Inc. would have an adequate counter to Galactus. Lex Luthor/Dr. Doom vs. Ozymandius would be fun to watch, and I do think that the Alien Queen would demolish the rest of Dr. Doom's Death Squad, however but Galactus would ultimately prevail...

For the other match-up, I see Magneto as the trump card as he possesses the highest "tangible powers". The Evil that will not be named plays upon fear very well, but Carnage and Voldemort are both masters at the fear game themselves and should be able to counteract Alma and Cthulhu. While Löwenherz's team holds the trump with magical powers, Maximum Carnage wins my vote unless Eris does some serious manipulation.
