Everyone can vote for these playoff match-ups (even if you didn't participate in the draft). Don't be shy!

Feel free to back-up your rationale here:).

Two of my absolute favorites: Aslan vs Deadpool. Ugh. I don't like voting on this one... Aslan gets the nod every time though. Other than that it would've been GW3.

I almost don't want to vote on this, because I want to reward both of you for actually having elaborate, detailed write-ups. I was never into the Chronicles of Narnia, and Deadpool is my favorite Marvel Hero.... and I never liked Sage at all. Had you gone with Silver Surfer instead, that might have swayed me over. I don't really like Beast either, but I like GW3's team of Xmen more than Jespher's zombie cat. Then again, Rachel Summers can make powers irrelevant....

but... Deadpool....

yeah. Deadpool.

I thought of including Silver Surfer, however, I didn't want this match-up to turn into purely a popularity contest. Sure GeraldWallace#3's team may have more name recognition, however, when taking powers and chemistry into consideration, Sage, Rachel, and Aslan made more sense. Furthermore, holding the match-up on the Astral plane gives Aslan home field advantage, as he has mastery over this domain. Factoring in the awesome telepathic prowess of both Sage and Rachel, my team should have little trouble besting a few physically gifted mutants. I'm sceptical that Wolverine, Beast, and Deadpool would even be able to travel to the Astral Plane, let alone defeat the local deity and his telepathic teammates.

The Family has leadership (Aslan), creativity (Rachel/Sage), battle skills (Sage), psychokinetic omnipotence (Rachel/Sage), grace (all), and the God factor (Aslan again).

Then wouldn't this invalidate the selection of the Astral Plane to begin with? I thought all locations had to be on Earth or easily traveled to from Earth, right? From your initial thread:

Superheroes must live on or be able to travel to earth. It's pretty hard to draft someone who couldn't be present.
Or did I miss something along the way???? Which I may have, as I am not really following this one too closely.

The astral plane can be visited consciously through astral projection, meditation and mantra, near death experience, lucid dreaming, or other means. Individuals that are trained in the use of the astral vehicle can separate their consciousness from the physical body at will.
The Astral plane can be visited by dreaming, dying, meditation, or astral projection. Deadpool, Beast, and Wolverine aren't trained in Astral Projection, however Beast could utilize his intelligence to design a device to enable this, or use one of his mutant liaisons to help transport them there. My point was that once there they lack the telepathic fortitude to defeat my team.

Are youe saying that your team has more powers and chemistry then mine? Unless I'm reading into it wrong. But Deadpool, Beast, and Wolverine are all X-Men who have worked together in the comicbooks. They know each others strenghts and weaknesses, I am pretty sure the chemistry side goes to me. As for powers, due to the weapon X program Deadpool and Wolverine all have the healing factor, which means that it would take alot more then a lion and two psychics to do any harm. Combining the intelligence of Beast, the brute force of Wolverine, and the craftiness of Deadpool this team should be unstoppable.

A few brawlers against a couple of powerful mentalists and a god? This really isn't too hard, nevermind the home-court advantage (i really do not mind it, matchups are matchups, period).
