Summer league or college - which is more competitive?

Talent concentration is bigger in Summer League, but college teams have an advantage of extended preparation: they can run sets, because they learnt to execute them, they have much stricter hierarchy, because no one is fighting for their future right here, right now and so no chucking or selfish play (well, there is, but not as much as in Summer League). So in short, Summer League is better indication of players one-on-one ability (on both ends), while college gives a better understanding, how a player functions within team structure. Obviously after 6-7 games you start seeing cohesiveness in team play in Summer League as well, but it is still more structured in college for sure.

College easily. As Gilles said, Summer League consists of the best college talent, but the actual play on the floor is similiar to what you might find at your local gym. Just a bunch of individuals out there trying to stand out above everyone else. Not the SL guys fault though; just how the structure of the SL is set-up with such high stakes for future careers and very little practice time before-hand as a team.

Competitve or more talented? Competitive is unquestionably college. Talent is still summer league,as almost everybody there was at least a starter and often some type of low level star in college. But they're thrown together for a couple of weeks, in unbalanced lineups who's main purpose isn't even to win, they are out to showcase themselves, and in general college >>> everything except the talent.
