Summer League coming to Sacramento

Supposedly summer league is coming to Sacramento with 4 teams: Sacramento, Warriors, Lakers and Miami.
The question is why Sac? I would guess 1 of 3 reasons:
1) Kings fans are so used to summer league quality basketball they will turn out thinking it’s real NBA.
2) Kings are so excited by Harry Giles that want everyone to see the kid.
3) Kings plan on drafting MPJ and between him and Giles want their medical staff close by.

none yet. No official announcement, but they got rid of the Orlando SL, so this will probably be its replacement. Orlando SL always came before the others, so maybe we'll see Giles early???

From Jason Jones: Sacramento will host a week of summer league play prior to when teams compete in Las Vegas, a league source confirmed.
Las Vegas summer league is July 6-17

I understand having the three Cali teams cooped up in Sac but then you throw in a random team from the other side of the states in it? huh?
Hell, it's not like there's not another California-based team that could be included in the thing. Or Portland for that matter.

Great win if this is a "go" - particularly for Kings fans in the area.
Will give more fans access to preview the team's 2018 pick(s), Harry Giles (if he's ready) and hopefully some improvement out of our 2017 draftees (Fox/Jackson, should they participate).
As with other summer leagues, you can probably catch a couple of cameos in the crowd from key NBA players/personnel and snag a pic/autograph if that's your thing. Good win for Sac!

The Lakers have already announced that Ball and Kuzma will not be playing in the Vegas Summer League, so I doubt that they will play in Sacramento. Love the optimism on our lotto odds, though!

Think it was 49 bucks a seat for 3 games, going with others but it was cheap and the seats should be good.

Could be season ticket holders have first buy, but was told we are going from someone who got some yesterday.
I don't own seasons, but go to some games with some who do, they were the ones to tell me 49 bucks.

I just got email from my ticket rep for purchase. $18 a session (2games) with no fees. Not bad. Seats are assigned. Not GA.

Ours were 49 down pretty low ccc I think, was like 65ish for better seats.
They had limited seating though was told, I guess if they sell out maybe they will offer more seats?

That's a bargain, yeah they are gonna go fast I think.
Was told by the people who got mine, they own two seasons for the regular season they could buy up to 8.
So yeah, anyone wanting to go who knows someone who has seasons should jump on this.
