Stats, after 3 preseason games

All-Star
You never see this kind of thing, sites apparently can't be bothered to let their scripts run on games that don't officially count. I'm having to do it all manually, so I'm skipping players who are out injured, who haven't played a pivotal role in any games, or who are not expected to play a pivotal role at any point in the immediate future. So, these are not FULL stats, but they're more than you'll find anywhere else.

I sort them by amount of play time, so the stats at the top of the list will be the most meaningful. The farther down the list you go, the less those stats will mean... the last few are almost completely worthless.

Here we go... shooting stats are totals, all other stats are per 48

Lovin Reke's 18, 8, and 7 stat line.

Well, that's per 48, and nobody plays 48. He's had more PT than anyone else, at 33.5 mpg; his per game stats so far are 13.0/5.6/5.0. They are nicely balanced stats, though, particularly if he develops a little range and drops his TOs. Bonzi-like rebounding for a guard.

Will never be Bonzi on the boards, but things are looking promising that he could well be a "Kobe class" player. That would have once been called "MJ class", but its the same principle. Its Kobe, Pierce, TMac when he was healthy, Wade, Roy, LeBron, Vince and Joe Johnson on the low end etc. -- the 20+ 5+ and 5+ level guards. Which in other words are the true stars, franchise player types that do everything, fill all stat categories, and get drafted Top 20 in your fantasy draft. That's all getting ahead of ourselves, but its very much the style of game, and body that Reke has. If he blossoms, he could be that star. Maybe not Kobe (in fact almost certainly not Kobe) but that same type of do it all guard. A legit star and All Star.

Will never be Bonzi on the boards...

Well, we have to remember that Bonzi's year with us was his best rebounding season ever. His career average was 8.0 rebounds per 48, Evans' so far is 8.1. Evans may yet rebound like Bonzi without rebounding like Bonzi-the-King.
