It could be worse. We could be sitting in Arco. I hate it in there when the Kings are losing. When they're losing this badly, it's really ugly. At least people can't scream at Webber about his play.
With all due respect I would consider sitting at ARCO a priviledge regardless on the score.

our point-center is going to finish the game with the high in assists.

Osster has been in the league, what, 10 years? what is the chance he has ever been game high for assists?

Slim to none. Also, seems this is the lowest assist total in franchise history, the lowest before this was 9 in 1988.

The thing that really is going to frustrate me about this game later is the coverage it will get on NBA.com and espn.com. When the Kings beat the Spurs three weeks ago, it didn't even warrant a headline on the front page of espn.com, nor did it get an espn motion highlight. I'm willing to wager that this win by the Spurs will garner both.

Just goes to show how things are when a team is flying under the radar...unfair? yes. Undesirable? NOPE.

Major props to Brent Barry, who is talking to Grant and Jerry. Without sounding pompous or full of himself, he talks about his team and their mental attitude, etc. In addition, he made the point that the Kings just seemed to be out of synch from the beginning. He also commented that sooner or later the newness was going to wear off the Mobley trade and we were going to have a game where, because we do have a new guy in the starting five, nothing goes right.

Thanks, Brent. "We know the Kings are a much better ballclub than what we saw tonight. Thursday is going to be interesting."
