SACRAMENTO, CA, July 8, 2010 -- Sports 1140 KHTK-AM will air two Kings Summer League games from Las Vegas.
The radio “Voice of the Kings,” Gary Gerould, will serve as the play-by-play announcer with color analyst Fat Lever. Jason Ross will provide host and sideline duties during the broadcasts.
The first game to air will be a tape-delayed contest between the Kings and the Lakers on Tuesday, July 13, at 7 p.m. (Game time is 5:30 p.m. at the Thomas & Mack Center). The second broadcast will air live on Wednesday, July 14 from COX Pavilion where the Kings will take on the Minnesota Timberwolves at 7 p.m.
The Kings Summer League roster includes new rookies DeMarcus Cousins and Hassan Whiteside along with veterans Omri Casspi and Donté Greene. Broadcasts will feature interviews with Kings and NBA players and personnel.
