Specially-designed Erin Buescher t-shirt

#1
Right before Game #3 of the WNBA Finals, did anyone notice that some people were wearing specially-designed Erin Buescher t-shirts?

Just before I entered into Arco Arena's entrance door, I saw a handful of people wearing those shirts. It was a white shirt with an illustrated cartoon drawing of Erin wearing a white basketball uniform (with purple trim) but no WNBA or Monarchs logo on it. Underneath the drawing was a Biblical reference: "Proverbs 3:5".

I presume that this was a specifically-made shirt created by some of Erin's fans or her family (who lives in Northern Calif.). I don't think this was "officially" licensed by the WNBA or by the Monarchs, because it was not being sold inside the arena or at the Arco's Team Store.

Does anyone else remember seeing these shirts? Not that I'm planning on getting them, but I was just curious.

In case anyone is curious:

Proverbs 3:5-6 (New International Version)
New International Version (NIV)

5 Trust in the LORD with all your heart
and lean not on your own understanding

The Shirts were made by her agent I believe, and that were give aways.

So I doubt you will see them on sale anyway and I think that is how they got around the licencing agreement. Strange how the league own the likeness of their Players.

That is probably why Kristen has to Sell her Haynie-aic shirts Bootleg style. Cause Heaven Forbid the NBA doesn't get their cut of the pie.

Did I say NBA??? Well you know what I meant.;)

I will try again...

HER AGENT made the shirts.

He wanted to create something that She could express her uniqueness. Spoke to Moms about it. She showed up at the arena and he was handing them out.

He wanted to promote ERIN.

And Yes Her family happens to be Devout Christians but they also Happen to be Very Quality Human Beings. The Two are not mutally exclusive. Erin and her family are some of the most tolerent accepting and loving people I have ever come across.

So all of the good fortune she has I wish her that and More.

um, okay, are you in a bad mood right now, Luv13fan? I never said that the Bueschers were anything bad, I was explaining the gist of the message. That is a quality that I admire most about them.
