South Sacramento boxing gym closing down

Reading today's SacBee (Sunday, Sept. 30, 2007), it was bad enough to discover that Basketball Town was closing down its doors. But now, a local boxing gym in South Sacramento (Franklin Blvd.) for youths will be shutting down as well. The reasons for closing down, however, is quite different from the circumstances that befell Basketball Town.

I'm not a boxing fan, but it sad to see any kind of refuge for youths from "a life in the streets" go away like that.
