Something good things about the recent games! Anyone?

These guys are bound to improve as the season progresses. They have some young players and nobody has played much together. Adelman has not even made his final cut or firmly established his starting line-up. I don't know what will happen this year, but even a casual observer would have to assume that a young and new basketball team will work more efficiently as the year goes on.

I think we will be OK. Who knows, maybe Bibby and Miller will actually come to play when the season starts.

Well.. In preseason I have learned....

Bonzi Wells is going to grab a lot of rebounds at the SG position. 5+ a game.

Kevin Martin will be a future Doug Christie with all the steals he is getting.

Peja will continue to have shooting woes at the beginning fo the year.

Garcia will not get much time, or will play in the NBDL.

Miller has a good shot, but his rebounding seems to be a bit off.

Skinner has a jumpshot, but still cannot hit a freethrow to save his life.

SAR, and KT will battle for playing time.

Bibby will still lack defense, although become more vocal which will mean more technical fouls.

Garcia will not be in NBDL. He is like the only shooting SF we have behind peja. He will be used for matchup situations where Corliss strenght posting-up may not fare so well and vice versa.

If anyone goes to DL it will be Price.

Garcia will get a few minutes here and there but I suspect those will be very limited minutes Martin was getting last year.

I still think Hart, Thomas and Skinner are out main reserves with Martin getting a few minutes here and there when there is an opportunity. I think we could see a fair bit of Hart and Bibby on the court at the same time.

Hart will get most minutes as a back up guard, Thomas as a back up SF and PF and Skinner at C and occasionally at PF with Brad on the court as well.

I know its a limited sample and its pre-season but he is shooting 13-17 from the FT line so far. Thats .765 which is pretty good for someone who averaged .357 from the FT line last year.

I think Skinner has showed a great deal of improvement in both his jumpshot and his free throws so far this year.

Agreed. Yeah if anyone goes it'd be Price.

Well bunches of good stuff.

1. They found the best 13 players to fit their needs.
2. Kevin really showed big improvement from last year and is really good defender.
3. Bonzi showed what he can do to help topped off by a 20-10
4. Peja always starts slowly and he looks like he's getting some rebounds with better positioning.
5. Sharif and Kenny bring two different and very good 4's to the game meaning we can better match up with most everyone now.
6. Brad always starts slowly and looks like he may have been viewing some Vlade Divac tapes on preseason workouts.
7. Jason Hart is our real diamond-in-the-rough. He will be great and see good minutes and provide a spark.
8. Cisco showed flashes of defending and going to the basket that were amazing. Given a little time he will be great.
9. Skinner is our other diamond-in-the-rough. He bulked up a bit and it looks all upper body muscle. I think he is stoked for the new year.
10. Corliss's stint at PF game before last was impressive. He is the true veteran, the policemen on the court and all business all the time. Possibly could turn out to be one of the main leaders....
:D
(hey, it turned into a Top 10 List!!!!)

Nice list Cruz - Agree Hart and Skinner are going to be our "diamond-in-the-rough" Both play D, both play hard, and both play well off the bench.

I like this list...:)

Definitely a great list. Hart, Skinner, and Corliss will be the defensive anchors for sure.. hopefully with Bonzi leading the way and not imploding.
