With all the moaning and groaning about the loss, I think something almost slipped through the cracks. Pedja had 37 points tonight and that's good, right?
I think sometimes people lose sight of things because they're so involved in pointing the finger at or away from one or more of our players. That's sad because it's all about the TEAM.
No, they didn't win tonight but there were good things about this road trip:
1. Webber had pretty good outings, including the second game in a back-to-back and the 4th game in 5 nights.
2. Evans continued to impress.
3. Bibby was awesome for the most part and even redeemed himself after a slow start in tonight's game. He is the ICEMAN as far as I can tell. He lives for that clutch shot where you have to have total confidence in your own abilities and no discernable nerves.
4. Pedja had a tough night beyond the arc against the Hornets but STILL managed to get 37 points.
5. Petrie signed Eddie House, who should bring some relief to those worried about someone to take Bobby's place.
I, for one, am tired of talking about the negatives. EVERY team has ups and downs. For some reason, when the Kings have them it isn't just part of the game - it's high drama. Well, I love this game and I love this team. Highs, lows - I love them through it all. Just like every year since the first one, I will moan over the losses and then look forward - because as far as I'm concerned, it could be (and has been) a LOT worse!
GO KINGS!!!!!
